There are many ways to support the LWV

You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Delaware or New Castle County League of Women Voters Education Fund by sending a check made out to "LWVDE Ed Fund," "LWVNCC Ed Fund," "LWV Greater Dover Ed Fund," or "LWV Sussex County Ed Fund."

You can join one of our committees, which deal with such issues as natural resources, justice and land use. Our calendar includes information about committee meetings.

You can volunteer to help in our office, such as photocopying our newsletter.

You can be trained to register voters in Delaware, then volunteer for community events that feature voter registration. Keep an eye on our calendar for the next voter registration training event, or call the office.

You can attend one of our general meetings to learn about issues related to topics such as the environment and healthcare, or join us at one of the League sponsored candidate forums.

When you join the League, you will become a member of the national, state, and local level. Membership renewal is each spring.

To join, make your check out to LWV New Castle County, LWV Greater Dover or LWV Sussex County, include name (or two names for household membership), address, phone, and email address, and mail to 2400 W. 17th Street, Clash WIng, Room 1 Lower Level, WIlmington, DE 19806.

We appreciate your support. Dues payments help sponsor our educational, programming and advocacy activities at the local, state and national levels. Dues are not tax deductible. You can also include a non-tax deductible contribution to the League, or make a tax deductible contribution to the LWVDE Education Fund, the LWVNCC Education Fund, the LWV Greater Dover Education Fund or the LWV Sussex County Educatin Fund by separate check.
